Friends of the Diocese of Uruguay(UK)
The Friends of the Diocese of Uruguay(UK) are a group of churches and individuals in the United Kingdom that are committed to praying and working on behalf of the Diocese of Uruguay.
The group was formed in 1993 following a sabbatical visit by the Rev. Charles Bradshaw to the Province of the Southern Cone of America. The formation of the group corresponded with the establishment of the Diocese of Uruguay as an independent Diocese.
Through prayer, fundraising activities, visits, a regular newsletter and encouragement the group is closely involved in the ongoing development of the Anglican Church of Uruguay.
